Weekends and school holidays can slow that trip considerably given Mooloolaba's tourist volumes, so if you're booking a Saturday appointment, it's worth allowing extra time, particularly around the Esplanade and Brisbane Road intersections. Weekday mornings tend to be the easiest run down.
