Our clinic operates completely separately — we're an independent, community-based practice, and there's no formal connection between us and the hospital. If you're simply after a general hearing check rather than a hospital-referred appointment, or you'd like a second, independent opinion, booking with us on Bulcock Street is a straightforward option, with no referral required and no need to go through the hospital at all.
Booking a hearing test from Nambour is simple. Choose a time that suits your travel, and allow about an hour at the clinic. Free parking is available nearby and the entry is level. Bring your Medicare card, any referral, and a list of your medications.
Should your results show hearing loss, everything is explained in plain English by our Qualified Audiometrist. We can discuss hearing aids if they would help, and Hearing Services Program options for eligible pensioners and DVA card holders. Booking takes a phone call or a minute online.
We're a contracted provider under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP), so eligible Nambour residents — Pensioner Concession Card holders and DVA Gold or White Card holders — can access subsidised hearing assessments and related services with us.
