Aura is still very much a suburb under construction — new streets, new parks, and a Town Centre yet to fully take shape — which means there isn't a hearing clinic within the development itself just yet. What there is, is an easy arterial-road run north into Bulcock Street, where our clinic has been part of the Caloundra town centre for years. Whether you're a downsizer who's just moved into the estate or a younger family settling in, a hearing test is a straightforward booking rather than a detour out of your day.
Plan for around 45–60 minutes: a conversation about what's prompted the visit, painless diagnostic testing in a controlled setting, then clear, plain-language results before you head off. No referral or obligation required. Full process details: Comprehensive Adult Hearing Assessment.
Our Caloundra clinic provides diagnostic hearing assessments, tinnitus discussions, hearing aid fittings and ongoing device support for Aura residents.
With no clinic yet built into the Aura development itself, the established Bulcock Street clinic is the nearest option for a proper hearing assessment, a straightforward arterial-road drive away.
Learn MoreAura's mix of younger families and downsizer retirees means we don't assume a single demographic when talking through hearing aid options.
Learn MoreWhether you're newly settled in Aura or have lived on the Sunshine Coast for years, tinnitus concerns can be raised and discussed as part of your hearing test.

The drive from Aura is roughly 10–12 minutes north via Bells Creek Arterial Road onto Caloundra Road, arriving directly at Bulcock Street. It's a single, well-signed arterial route with no highway merging required, which makes it a comfortable drive whether you're doing it yourself or being brought in by family. Free town-centre-adjacent parking is available close to the clinic entrance once you arrive.
Stockland's Aura masterplanned estate has grown quickly, and its residents don't fit a single mould — young families are moving in alongside downsizers and retirees, often side by side on the same street. That mix matters for hearing health, because it's not just an older-age concern: noise exposure, family history and everyday listening habits affect adults at any stage of life. With the Baringa Retail Precinct close by for day-to-day errands and the future Aura Town Centre still taking shape, residents currently lean on the established Bulcock Street clinic for anything hearing-related, and that's expected to continue as the estate matures.
We're a contracted provider under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP), so eligible Aura residents — Pensioner Concession Card holders and DVA Gold or White Card holders — can access subsidised hearing assessments with us. Note that a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card doesn't qualify on its own; if you're unsure, bring your card and we'll check eligibility electronically at your appointment. Full details: Hearing Services Program guide.
